
Highway Patrol, defensive driving and advanced road safety. Ryan is so much more than just a driving instructor.
Growing up Ryan was heavily involved in the Newcastle speedway scene, from a pit crew member to a relief driver, all before he finished highschool.
Graduating from Goulburn police academy in 2003, Ryan worked throughout Sydney and the central coast as a constable before he became a member of the Highway Patrol, protecting the M1 from the Mooney Mooney bridge to Newcastle.
During his time on the highway Ryan completed a number of advanced driving courses including defensive driving and graduated to become a field teaching officer training the next generation of highway patrol officers.
Ryan was also a lead speaker within the traffic offenders program. A program designed to build safe driving habits in those with a poor track record.
In though out Ryans career he has observed first hand the results of poor driving training and now has a goal of equipping new driver’s with a broad range of skills, beyond just what it takes to get your provisional license,
